Hermes Agent — Personal Google Workspace Integration

A single-user, self-hosted automation tool.

What this application is

Hermes Agent is a personal AI agent that runs on a private server owned and operated by its sole user, Ronald. This OAuth application is the Google Workspace integration for that agent. It is not a public product, it has no other users, and it is not offered as a service to anyone else. It exists so that one person can ask their own agent to work with their own Google data.

What it does

When the owner asks the agent to do something involving their Google account, the agent calls the Google APIs directly on the owner's behalf — from the owner's own server, using the owner's own credentials. Typical operations:

There is no background syncing, no crawling, and no automated data collection. Every API call happens because the owner explicitly asked for it in a chat session with the agent.

Why it requests Google account access

The agent acts on the owner's behalf, so it needs the same level of access the owner has. It requests only the scopes required for the operations listed above — Gmail (read, send, modify), Calendar, Drive, Sheets, Docs, and Contacts (read-only). It does not request access to any other Google service, and it does not use Google data for advertising, profiling, or training machine-learning models.

How your data is handled

The OAuth token is stored in a single file on the owner's own server, readable only by the owner's system account. No Google user data is sent to any third party. Full details, including the exact scopes and retention rules, are in the Privacy Policy.
